If you want a unique cultural experience in a setting full of Western amenities, Israel has you covered! Family travel in Israel is easy. Driving isn't overly stressful (once you're out of the big cities), it's sanitary, accommodation is up to European standards, you can drink the tap water, and there's always someone around who speaks English. But, despite how easy it is, the cultural diversity & history in the region is incredibly complex.
Jerusalem is the epicentre of the three main world religions, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. It's impossible not to walk around and feel the city's importance. There's an endless list of sights to see, and once you're tired of sight seeing there's some incredible (seriously delicious) food!!
