I love our tradition of Gimli photos in each country we visit, and I love our overlanding stickers!

There were 2 countries where we forgot to get a family photo on the Defender. Luckily I took solo shots of Gimli!

London at Christmas 🎄😍

We spent our last week in Europe at a Worldschooling pop up hub in London. It was an incredibly busy week!

We visited loads of museums, skated at Canary Wharf, visited a handful of markets, watched Hansel & Gretel at The Globe, went for afternoon tea up the Shard, ate at our fav restaurant (Flour & Grape), took in evening choral-song at St Paul’s Cathedral, watched the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, and saw ALL the Christmas lights & decorations.

But…our favourite part of the week by far, was the friends. We caught up with old friends, made some new friends, and loved every moment of it!

One last stop before it’s time to park Gimli and

One last stop before it’s time to park Gimli and head home for the winter (I know, I know…who goes back to Canada for the winter 🥶).

We enjoyed a few beautiful, wintery, relaxing days at @vila_cigota_zlatibor in the mountains of Serbia. It was the perfect place to unwind, reflect & prepare ourselves for the COLD (-30C) waiting for us at home.

Theres something so peaceful about the snow…but Gimli is not really made for the cold & snow, so we were grateful to have a roof over our heads and a roaring fireplace!
