I’m obsessed with raising global citizens. This is a large part of why we travel with our kids. I want them to be aware of the world around them, to appreciate similarities and differences, and to develop an understanding that life just isn’t fair. Through responsible travel we will help them develop compassion and understanding. I love to getting off the beaten path, and experiencing life first-hand in rural communities around the world. Although travel plays a large role, giving back at home and when we travel, as well as getting involved in community projects will augment this. Awareness, and a desire to raise global citizens, is the first step.
