Family Travel in Burkina Faso
Family travel in Burkina Faso isn't common, but if you're willing to step beyond your comfort zone, the rewards can be immense. Burkina Faso is a vibrant country with the friendliest people we found in the region. It's bordered by a few unstable countries at the moment, so security is high, but we never felt unsafe. The countryside is spectacular and it's possible to get up close and personal with some large wildlife.
We had a fantastic 10 days exploring Burkina Faso with Kids. The people were so friendly and the landscape was so varied and beautiful. If you ever get a chance to go, I'd highly recommend it!
