Who knew it was this easy to get a custom wallet m Who knew it was this easy to get a custom wallet made in Türkiye?! Randy’s been using the same wallet for the past decade and he was SO sad when it broke right before we came back to Europe. So of course I went in a hunt to find a fabulous, hand crafted, leather wallet in Türkiye. My search sent me straight to @alloroleathercraft in Antalya. Randy found exactly what he wanted, but he didn’t love any of the available colours. ‘No problem!’ He chose the leather he liked the best and a few days later had his new, custom made wallet. These are the best kinds of souvenirs, especially when they’re even better than expected! Save this if you’re headed to Türkiye (there’s more than just wallets!!) #turkiye🇹🇷 #handmadeisbetter #roadtripeurope #overlandlife
This might be one of our top 5 campsites in all of This might be one of our top 5 campsites in all of Europe. Partly because it’s beautiful and partly because of the historical significance of it. Sleeping inside a UNESCO Caravanserai was unreal. Thinking about all the people who’ve spent the night in this place, over the centuries, on journeys we now can only dream about. It felt like we were a part of it, if only for the night. Places like this give us a moment to pause, take a step back, and really appreciate how special this journey is for us. The things we’ve seen, experienced and touched as a family is sometimes hard to put into perspective. And a place like this makes us feel small (in a good way!), one tiny part in a long line of humanity. #overlandlife #landroverdefender110 #overlandfamily #familytravel #türkiye
